I’m Sandra
I began my journey in Design with the goal of becoming a UX Designer by obtaining my Bachelor’s of Design, majoring in Interaction Design degree. But along the way, I discovered how much I valued the process of creating safe spaces to ask thoughtful questions, understanding human behaviour, and advocating for people's needs for good experiences. This naturally led me to UX research, where I bring a strong foundation in interaction design to inform meaningful experiences through thoughtful research.
I’m based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as a UX Researcher 2 at Microsoft AI. My role at Microsoft AI primarily focuses on researching shopping experiences and using research insights to influence product strategy and design decisions.
Outside of work I love yoga, long walks, playing the piano, and picnics at a park or beach. ☀️

Conducted research to inform Copilot ad experiences to be distinct from Copilot's recommendations.
